Watched some videos of people using this style of pole for non ice fishing and wanted to try. I came across this pole and figured I could not lose at this price. Well we took these poles to the lake today with the reels ordered and had a blast with them. Very tough and well made. Like them so much buying 3 more and ordered several more for co-workers as well. Bonus was able to slip into tree coverage on the bank with this short pole and cast. Caught 13 nice large blue gills on this pole.

I ordered a 75cm rod. It came as shown in the pictures. The wood-like material is not cork but some soft material wrapped in cellophane. I am not confident that this will last after it is used in sea fishing.
