bougth this thinking it was a good tool for looking at circuit boards, but its not. Haven't tried it on anything like gems or stones it mite be good for that!! All in all not impressed

This item is good. Testet and works perfect.

The batteries were dead when I received it. Luckily I buy 10 AG10 (LR1130) batteries for a dollar at my local flee market and I had 3 to spare. This device is a bit fiddly but it does work. The objective lens came loose but I was able to work it back into alignment. I would only use this for very light duty or occasional use. A kid might enjoy it.
