On upgrading to the Taranis from a Deviated Devo 7E, this module was an absolute must for me. Used in serial mode, it can be controlled seamlessly from the Taranis menu on OpenTX 2.2. The only con is the fact that the memory is no longer big enough to hold all the protocols, however, how many do you actually need. With a little know-how, you can update the firmware and just choose the protocols that you actually need. I know there are upgraded versions of this module, but it'll do just fine for me.
