I have had two 'headlights' before this one and I have used them often, but they were not strong enough. That is certainly not a problem with this set. They are great for anywhere you need a portable light source. The places where I find them the most valuable are 1. in the attic which has no other fixtures. 2. working on my car. No drop cord light can come close to the effectivness of a light that is pointed where you're looking, regardless of where that is. You have to be a bit careful though. My wife stepped into the garage while I was under the hood of her car to call my to dinner. I turned toward her and almost blinded her. These things are real flame throwers. Hurray for these headlights.
