When the smaller spanner and no doubt the same for the larger spanners are either used individually it in COMBIBATION any stubborn filter or reversing ring can be slowly removed not damaging threads on either item making having a pair far better than 1

The smaller spanner is a great tool to keep in your camera bag as if you are like myself and often use lens reversing ring occasionally one can get exceptionally tight by using the filter spanner it helps considerably in loosening the ring for removal that is why I have ordered another of the smaller filter spanners The larger spanner I often use to loosen screw on hoods only having small hands so all in all the two spanners and the extra smaller item will be in my bag as soon as it arrives

The hood spanner is worth buying especially if you have small hands such as I, yet by using the hood spanned I can hold on to and undo the largest of the hoods I use without the risk if snapping pieces them such as I have done before now so for the small cost of the spanner I can now reach with no problem

The two items arrived in separate padded envelopes, they were put in a common plastic bag, then into the postage plastic envelope. I ordered both sizes. I have just tried them and they work fine. It is easy to remove the filters. Sspecially the circular polfilters are sometimes tricky, but with this tool it is not a problem anymore.
