Simple USB, no controls on camera body, just plug the cable. Immediately seen by my Slackware Linux (v14.2+), no need to use the enclosed CD (by the way, docs are far from perfect, but who needs them if it's so easy?). Using Videolan, just some flickering induced by microscope lamp running on 50 Hz 240V mains, use Videolan advanced controls on capture device to null it. Windows only SW enclosed still to be put to test, if ever. Overall very satisfied. First capture attached.

Am I missing something? Can't get a clear image using the camera with and without the attached lens. Will contact the seller for some info about it when I get to it

The mini disc, which ist part of the package, isn't very helpful at all. I could use the cam on my Ubuntu notebook directly w/o additional driver software. Camera has an excellent quality metal housing. Sensor resolution is sufficient for microscope and telescope usage.

Gute Amateurkamera, speziell bei älteren Mikroskopen fehlt oft die Möglichkeit Bilder zur Dokumentation zu machen und das ist die Möglichkeit speziell zusammen mit ImageJ.

It works well and the included software is good. My only issue is that it does not seem to come with a specific driver. In the included software, some control options like gain are greyed out. It would be nice to specifically set a shutter speed and gain Is there a driver to download from somewhere ?
