I received the items 2-3 months ago, and used many times. Thats why the scriptions wiped off. I think it would be better used with the kit, but so far I used them by hand. They did a lot of good use to my knives.Especially i love the grit 3000 which feels like silk on my fingers but mirror polishes on metals. Though all stones delivered safe and sound, i found grit 1500 has a crack after sometime. I guess it was a matter of temperature difference. The grit 800 fell of my hand and that was broken too. So always be careful handling them and mind the temperature.
