Upon delivery I immediately tested this device. Initially it was 5mm off at a distance of 1m so I calibrated it. Then I tested it at 2m and it was bang on! I can't check it at longer distances because I have no other range finder to compare to. . Angle measurement is accurate within 0.1 degree so it's perfectly OK. I haven't tested Pythagorean and area measurements because if distance measurements are accurate then so are area and Pythagorean measurements. . The display is well illuminated, easily legible in broad daylight, too. The whole device has a professional look and grip with the aluminum case. . Last but not least this was one of the few range finders with free shipping to Hungary. But the ultimate reason for me to buy it were the thousands of satisfied customers and the lack of negative reviews. . Absolutely and highly recommended!
