This product has an internal thermostate that cuts power to heating elements when it reaches a preadjusted temperature. that temperature is equal to the max temp of OEM seat heater. when needed ou can fold the lneght of pad and fit under seat cover. most problematic part is to remove cover from you seat. It would be nice to have cutting points on heater pads. You simply cant resize these.
