These rings are not as cost effective as one may think. Although they are fairly well made and certainly look the part they do have some problems. Mainly associated with the release lever mechanism releasing the lens from the camera and/or the lens used to take the pics. The pins do not retract completely in two of my rings and then one must remove the lens/ex tube by using a knife blade to pull the pin down in order to release the lens from the ring. Other than that, being a nuisance, the rings actually do work but there seems to be no real answer to the ring/pin problem. Make sure you test them thoroughly before committing to keeping them.

pour un usage ponctuel ça va mais avec un objectif lourd (70-200L) avec un doubleur je ne suis pas vraiment en confiance, ça reste plastique je regrette de ne pas avoir pris un tube en metal.

I have canon EF 100mm macro lens and this does exactly the same as the EF100 although this is 1/22 of the macro lens' price. The only con is it can not to be tighten firmly.
