This is second Glass Cutter that I bought. It's good that it comes with protection cap. +cuts nicely 1mm glass +easily scratches granite, laboratory glass, steel and ceramic. I tried with cutting 5mm glass, but didn't succeed. Scratch was not deep enough to break glass along drawn line. So I recommend it for cutting <5 mm material. Or draw a break line multiple times for thicker. ones..
