Linear Actuator arrived today. 29 day from order. It is a heaver unit than I had expected as I had intended using it for opening a small cupboard door which covers a video projector. the actuator must lift the door to above the light coming from the projector. The description should have had more dimensions. I checked out it's operation and found that in the first half of its extension it makes a strange noise and the current it draws decreases slightly. it does this in both directions. this test
