These are very bright COBs indeed but, 1.6 Amps @ 12 volts does not equate to 50 watts in anyone's language. However I'll probably buy more, 'cause I like 'em.

Andydt73 1.6A at only 12 volts, need to current adjust when 15 volts output, adjusted up to 3.6 Amps max will be 50 watts very bright.

Denno I run them 2 in series X 3 ( theoretically 300 watt ) @ 23 volt they run warm not, hot and illuminate the yard brilliantly. They may even exceed their 100,000 hour life expectancy. PS: don\'t believe any specs the sellers publish. They are usually rubbish.
