This is a nice kit, but certainly not for a beginner! Plenty of Surface Mount components to be soldered onto the PCB. The PCB is nicely laid out and the silkscreen has good legends for the component locations. You get a number of extra LED's in case of damage when bending/soldering the "cube", and there was a handy jig supplied which makes soldering up each "ring" of LED's a bit easier. Altogether a nice kit which provided me a good few hours of electronics fun! The only reason that I have not given it 5 stars is that there was absolutely NO INSTRUCTIONS provided!
