It was fun to build even though I can only receive FM. The LED for the SW bands never comes on either no matter where the switch is located. If anyone has any ideas as to why I can only receive FM please write or add to your review. I keep checking reviews in case someone post some pictures or instructions. Would have been nice if some instructions came with it.

Bernie If your led does not come on, check pin 15 of IC 1 for low or ground in AM mode. Or go from FM to AM with a voltmeter on pin 15. You should see a change from Low to High or High to Low when changing from AM to FM or FM to AM. If components around Q102 transistor or the transistor itself are placed incorrectly that could cause what you are seeing.
