Works very well . You will need a high pulse current source, either a large capacity battery ( 100 AH or similar) or alternatively a car "jump starter" with high current from a lithium battery ( I use a 300 amp one) . As is usual, no instructions come with the item, anyone familiar with basic electronics can work it out, but there is also plenty of info generally available ( Youtube etc) for these devices. The "key" connection is for a pushbutton that steps through the pulse current levels with an LED indicator for each step ( red is the highest)
