I'm sure this could have a myriad of uses but for it's intended purpose of safely storing 10180 batteries on a keyring it is perfect. With my order of the SS version I received the capsule along with a tiny split-ring but no spare O-rings. A smear of silicon grease on it's well machined threads should also maintain it's waterproof ability. I've used a couple of 5mm O-rings above & below the 10180 to ensure a rattle-free fit and also protect against the risk of shorting.
