Have not yet used them, but they arrived well and look to be in good shape. No corrosion, no dings. I believe there is some limitation on shipping the battery, which is well and good. They can be had here fairly easily. However, the holder for the battery is not soldered on the board, and if it normally ships with the unit, It didn't with the 3 I bought. Take heed, if you need a battery, and you need it NOW these are small. We're talking hearing aid batteries, not 2032s or the other larger variety. That issue aside, I can go more in depth when I actually try to use the, as that project is coming up soon. Judging from the other parts I received in the shipment, I don't expect any problems, except that i'm not positive I'll be able to access the alarm functions without modification. Either way, for the price, its hard to beat. and a rtc is (to me) a very underappreciated tool that I always seem to forget I want, and can't live without when I have them. And from other users feedback, overall this is a good one to get for projects ranging from arduino plaything to raspberry pi high-speed WhatchaMaOverHeatIt.
