I was surprised with the quality of this nice bench-drill. I measured the run-out of the chuck after unpacking and it was +/- 0.05 mm. Such a run-out kills PCB drills. I removed the chuck from the arbor/spindle, cleaned both and remounted the chuck again, which showed a reduction in run-out. Now it is +/- 2.5 hundredths of a millimeter, which is OK for me. taking the cover off the belt drive can be a bit difficult. Use a small file to clean the slots and you can easily take the cover off to change

Доволен на 98%, 2% не дотягивает двигатель, мощность маловата. В остальном всё супер. Столешница из стального чугуна(вес приблизительно 2 кг.) , люфта нет, абсолютно. Единственное пришлось нанести циатим на шестерёнку привода шпинделя. Стал ходить очень мягко. Просверлил платку

I ordered and received this several weeks ago but haven't had the time to test it out. Construction is strong and well made, putting it together from the box is easy and it sits on the bench stable. The motor is reasonably quiet with the advantage of controlling speed and adjustment is easy to fit whatever projects you are drilling. A great addition to my radio shack.
