Beside the LED bulbs, the adapter's material is indeed suitable for halogen and CFL light bulbs which temperature and wattage is very high compared to the LED bulb. For the last 2 months I use it everyday and it works as I expected, providing enough light to my room.

Im using two LED bulbs and it is nice and bright. I would be a little worried about two high wattage bulbs though. could get too hot. otherwise well made.
