bought the flysky version. before you buy this, please read the reviews by buyers, especually on issue of the micro usb port via jst type head. for me, i dont like to solder into the fc board, so i diy the usb cable using the correct size jst i bought specially for this purpose. i actually bought a few sizes because i was not sure which one will fit. once i managed to connect into betaflight, after all those com port issues, and done flashed latest version firmware, then the rest of the steps including
I received the controller today. It looks good, but I haven't tested with the engines yet. However, I soldered the USB cable to the test and I flashed the firmware to newest version without problems. Looking from the front of the socket the wires should be [GND(black)] [Data +(green)] [Data-(white)] [+5V(red)] as in the picture I added. It has easily connected to Taranis X9D+ and reads all channels and position from gyroscope correctly. Additionally I soldered the capacitor on battery input.
Used for my micro quad, it has an integrated Flysky receiver, very stable, it is configurabile with betaflight/cleanflight, but you need the cable. I share my build info: -F3 Evo Brushed 3.7V -Racerstar 8520 brushd motor X4 -3.7 600mah lipo battery -3D printed frame Total weight is 63grams(3D printed prop guards included).
I got 2 bad quads in a row that had DSMX receivers, so Banggood, at my request, sent an FC with a Frsky receiver since he DSMX units were not good. SUCCESS! I now have a flyable QX-70. Thank you Banggood for the replacements, you went above and beyond on this order.
very good f3 flight controller for the price its really good.. only complaint is the usb connection isn't the usual micro USB cable !! it has a 4pin 1.0mm jst connector. I couldn't find a USB lead to jst anywhere. had to make my own in order to flash latest firmware on betaflight.
shipping was very quick...it is working...but I have problem with it. I get with frysky rx. i have devo 7e with multiprotocol module. Rx from fc connect to my tx. but I have a lot of delay in communication. for example if I hit full throttle and put it down to zero it take time to fc recognise command. sometimes blue led on fc stop blinking. so I cant use this board
Light, stable and cheap 3 in 1 (FC , receiver and motor controller), On mine I ripped the connectors off and soldered motor wires directly onto it.
Good
all in order, yet to be tested
