I intended to install this to my 12428-b as im currently restoring it, i purchase along with feiyue upgraded 3 wire servo metal gear, both of them fits together but there is space on the top between the servo and servo seat any way its fine you just need to screw the servo to the servo seat on the side, but take note this not come with screws you need to find or provide for yourself Installing on the wltoys 12428-b this will not a plug and play, a little bit shorter and needs a drilling work. But for the price its a win.

It fits the chassis perfect. I am still waiting for my new servo to come in the mail so I can not say if it fits yet. I would not classify this part as a performance upgrade due to the plastic piece being sufficient and lighter.

It could be by 1-2 millimeters higher and wider, because not every servo fits in a metal frame. The factory servo fits in, other types, unoriginal, have a big problem to fit. With the original plastic fixing it is not a problem, because it bends and you can not see that the servo is 0.5mm wider, and here it no longer fits.
