As you can see on the attached picture the plastic part has place for the axle transmission element when moving up-down but the metal not. A lot of grinding was needed to provide place and avoid blocking the suspension movements.

Small changes are necessary - you have to mill space for the cardan shaft, because in the extreme positions (wheels quite down or up) the shaft rubs against this element and is immediately destroyed. There are a lot of looseness for fixing (in the screw holes), Teflon washers must be used so that the whole suspension does not ring and does not vibrate loosely.

Good spare parts must have. Tough replacement for original abs parts.

These fit the aluminum suspension arms and the cardon joints perfectly. I found them to be slop free and without any binding. I have not received my new axles yet so I can not say if they have interference issues at this time, though they have lots of material to them and clearancing them should not affect their strength. I would consider these a solid performance upgrade.
