Well, I'll start with the positives: + Looks nice. + Rock solid - all metal. + It is still alive after 5 months. + Great color sensitivity. + Great night vision. Here is what may annoy you (and tips how to fix): - Despite it says POE - there is no POE. You need to by your own adapter to split the power and the network. - occasional reboots for no reason. Decreasing the image sharpness (from onvif software) and contrast partially fixes the issue. - If you don't use the CMS software the "timer" goes off by 15 mins a day and the NTP option does not work. - If you set static IP in the camera settings it will still change it once a week. You need to enable DHCP in the camera and lock the IP to the camera's MAC address in your router's settings.

  • Bri I purchased on of these and mine is definitely POE but you must feed it, via the data cable, from a 48V POE 802.3af enabled switch or adaptor. You can if you wish, alternatively feed it with a separately connected (Not POE) 12V power supply. Note no power supply was provided with this camera. Hope this helps. best regards.
