This is the only dual rail linear regulator on banggood. Works great and is really essential when working with audio and op-amps. Had to buy a second one. I wish there were more dual rail options. Led resistor is way too small value, otherwise flawless.

I will use this kit as a basis for a ~1,2 to +25v, -1,2 to -25v 1A PSU. I will also use two of the 0-33V 0-3A Four Bit Voltage Current Meter, also from Banggood. The quality of the components and the PCB is good. I would like to see all the electrolytic capacitors to be at least 35v (the 330 uf ones are 25v - I will use 35v ones from my stock) but this is my personal view of how a good kit could be a better one with minimal extra cost. The kit came to Greece in 15 days, well wrapped and with everything intact. Well done one more time Banggood!

The LED series resistor was 4.7 k which cause some problems. In my package there was only one 120 ohm resistor where there should have been 2 and two 4.7 k resists when only one is used. The voltage adjustment components are poorly selected. The 120 ohm resistor provide roughly 10 mA to the 10 k multiturn trimmer resistor meaning the adjustment range is between 1.2 V to roughly 100 V! The LM317/337 an handle only max 37 V. I modified my circuits by using 360 ohm resistors instead. Note that LM317/337 are guaranteed to operate with minimum output current of 10 mA. The 360 ohm resistor does not guarantee that. A bigger and perhaps dangerous problem is the LED series resistor which is too small. The schematics says this should be 10 k, which also may be too low unless you use a power resistor. The maximum voltage over the resistor is roughly 70 V which means close 0.5 W power when 10 k resistor is used. And over 1 W when 4.7 k resistor is used. When I first time powered up my regulator there was a clear burning smell. Fortunately I used only 12 V transformer so the output levels were a bit over 16 V or 32 V total over the resistor+LED. I fast reduced the output to +/- 9V which was OK. When I tested +/-15V the temperature of the resistor rapidly rose to over 130 celsius!
