The picture quality is very good, I bought this tv to use at our camp to watch movie vids stored on a card I also live in a rural area with little reception so I have not used it as a tv yet can't get atsc channels here with our main large tv without a roof antenna but we do have Cable so I can't expect this little one to tune channels here either but I must say that it does work great to watch vids or movies with a card or USB memory (what I wanted it for) and the battery has been holding up good, = I Do like this TV - I think it is a good value
