The MJX Bugs 2W is my second GPS drone and I’m delighted with it. A quality 1080p camera records quality video and stills to either your phone/tablet or to an onboard micro SD card. The WiFi has excellent range and I’ve had a usable FPV picture as far as 400 metres away. The Bugs 2 itself has a built-in “geofence” that stops it from flying further than 1km (1000m) away (at which point it is well beyond line of sight). It has an extremely accurate return to home (usually within 1 meter of the take-off point) and will also automatically return to home when the battery is low or if it should lose signal to the transmitter. This makes it feel very safe. If you turn GPS off the Bugs 2 becomes a fast elegant and responsive flyer with enough speed to keep most people happy. The stock battery (which is a proprietary plug-in type) lasts a good 15 minutes giving plenty of time to enjoy the Bugs 2’s wonderful flight characteristics.

Well I am back with my gripes reviewing items that are otherwise a great buy and value especially considering the anniversary sale price I got it on. With GPS, RTH, Altitude hold, FPV Wi-Fi camera, brushless motors, surprisingly good user manual and quick start guide etc., for the price you cannot get a better quadcopter, period. However I like to provide information in my reviews of things I felt needed attention or buyers need to be aware of. This is not a DJI Phantom or Mavic by no means and one shouldn't expect it to be for the price. The Wi-Fi video has a bit of latency and about 100 feet range so don't expect it to be zipping through obstacles like a FPV racer. GPS works great but is a learning for me as I am coming from FPV whooping background and not used to the GPS corrections and altitude hold. The camera is okay, not great but not that bad either. You can get somewhat decent shots if you can keep it steady. My biggest issue was with the battery casing that this particular batch came with. Apparently they have changed the battery casing slightly with a locking mechanism at the lower end compared to what I got as extra batteries from another place. The extra batteries I had ordered have a clip locking mechanism at the bottom end and they do-not fit in this quad. I had to saw the clip off and create a notch in the case to be able to fit them in. I can't lock them though and will have to use tape or Velcro.

Fantastic, price / entertainment ratio, complimenting the panorama and amazement of many friends, seeing the drone leave my balcony at home and flying away to the spectacular panorama of our parts .... great fun even for those who had never piloted a drone, and very high excitement when the battery drains the 14-satellites drone centered the not-so-great balcony of home! All Happy and Enthusiastic! Really good buy, easy to use, does what promises and also very safe .... Some photos of the panorama. pics 5318 is with camera protection, i forget to remove... on the smart phones thi pics are very good, on bigger screem... lost... But this drone is capable of carry an hd cam as well... Fantastic! I will Try....!

What a brilliant little drone, It flies lovely, much better than non brushless drones, great power, and the return to home is very good, wanted a step up from the smaller smaller symas but didn't want to spend 500 pound on a DJI, it look great in the air, the transmitter telemetry is very good, to use. For the FPV make sure your phone is 5g wifi compatible, mine wasn't so i have ordered a 5g wifi adapter from bangood for an android phone, well done really happy, well packed arrived in 10 days to the uk
