Actually surprised me with good performance and clear images over a 8cm of viewing height. This is enough to get a PCB underneath, small consumer devices, jewellery etc. OK it's never going to be scientific grade considering it s construction and plastic lenses but for general hobby use, I am happy with my purchase. The only thing I would change is the on-screen fonts. For some reason Chinese manufacturers love Times New Roman script in menus but Arial or Helvetica is clearer to my eyes.
