Got the 12 rpm version. Strong little motor(can nearly hide it behind my thumb), with a large pulley on the shaft so I can hang onto it I can't hang onto the motor solidly enough to stop it. Nice quiet motor. Very little gear noise or motor noise. Haven't used the encoder yet. Do wish what it was encoding was better explained. If it is the motor shaft then it should be capable of fairly high precision because of the huge gear reduction. If it is the gear then the precision will be far lower. Don't know which? Minorly concerned about how exposed the encoders circuity is but so far no problem. Wish it either came with the plug and a short pigtail so I had the other half of the plug in or had a link to it so I can order it as a separate item. 6 connections are solidly labelled which is good. All in all if it proves durable I am content with it.
