I only needed the hand drill really, but this combo with the vise was not much more. I am glad that I got the vise, it is really much nicer than it looks in the description. There is not much to say about the drill. It uses a 3-piece collet instead of the more common 4-piece. The vise is the cool thing. It is much heavier and larger than I expected. I am going to bolt it down to my workbench, and I expect to get a lot of use out of it while working on my multi-copters. Highly recommended.
