Large enough to hold small items. The large pocket (zipper, closes completely) holds a smartphone, wallet, or similar sized items. The small pocket (velcro, not rainproof as it does not close on the corners) can hold something like IEMs, a feature phone, power bank (in dry weather!), mp3 player, small set of keys, or an edc tool. The velcro strap for wearing feels strong, and the plastic loop it threads through can be used to hang keys or other attachments via a small carabiner (though this may cause swinging around, it works for me. Another function is that you can use this as a pants clip while cycling.
