A laptop stand's function is to prevent a user's neck and/or shoulder pains by elevating the display to a more comfortable eye level. That assumes that you will no longer be using the laptop's keyboard and track pad, otherwise you will have wrist pains instead. The unit is easy to adjust to whatever height and inclination needed for your personal taste. Very light and a bit on the fragile side as long as you don't lean on it or put a 10kg laptop on it. The presence of degree graduations on the rotating hinges is an added adjustment convenience. My unit has a slight bend at the front portion but not a problem really, you can't even notice it the one of my photos. Over all, a nice adjustable stand for a 13 inch notebook or even a 15 inch one. The price is just about right for the build quality.
