When it is set-up it is rigid and can be used with any camera or telescope. You need to buy the Puluz 75mm bowl adapter and fluid head separately for this one. I bought one of these for my video studio on which I fitted a rail slide mount. I was so pleased with the quality that I bought another one for outdoor use with my cameras, night vision monoculars and telescopes. For a professional tripod like this it is great value for money. I think it is excellent and fully recommend it for both quality and price.
