Like all the Sonoff wifi items, the POW R2 connects easily to wifi (as long as you remember to turn off MAC filtering). The MAC address can easily be found in the 'Settings' menu and entered in the MAC filter table of your router. The device records daily kWh use of the connection you are plugged in to and you can put in your supplier's kWh cost and the POW R2 calculates the total cost of the power used over the period it is connected. You can turn the device on and off using Google Home. I have no idea how accurate it is at totalling kWh used or how reliable.
