This is a very well designed board. The tracks protecting the high voltage are wide and properly milled. The GPIO0 is on a button and the serial pins are run to the edge ready for a header. The layout is one of the best I have seen for ages in a 220V product, seeming to choose safety over size. Mine is already running micropython and I also tested LUA. I can see a use for 100s of these.

the circuit inside looks ok, the traces from and to the relay are thick not tested yet full 10A for the price you get a pretty decent wifi controlled relay i advise flashing the esp8266 with your own custom firmware so you can control it without the coolkit apk especially android users, coolkit apk contains malware that is capturing account passwords and sends them to their servers, also sniffs out personal information in your phone and network be very careful using the application supplied by the manufacturer !

Quick and easy setup. I recommend that you also buy this switch https://goo.gl/QgDCMg For better performance and capability use " Tasmota" or "Letscontrolit" firmware. For flashing you need to buy this adapter https://goo.gl/pp7Wzh with 3.3v output.

I want to apologize to Banggood and Itead for my previous negative evaluation: It 's just my fault: I used a wrong network password, and the devices was not activated. I realized the error so I was able to turn on all the switches perfectly. The app Ewelink 2.2.0 works really fine and I am absolutely satisfied. Excuse me again!

I made pictures to compare with USB cable, because it's more tiny then I expected. I soldered pins and flashed ESP8266 chip with EasyESP firmware. Everything works fine. Be careful how big power will you switch.. Description says about 1500W but I not recomend more than 160W. I will test how big power physicaly will be ok but datasheet of relay says about 160W only.

strange enough, but it actually works! as i understand, it requires an internet connection to connect to their online servers to receive commands. after that you can control it from anywhere. also you can set up a schedule. price is amazing, and only drawback i can imagine off - will it work, if their servers become unavailable? great value though.

I ordered three of these, as always delivery was fast and without hassle. Upon closer scrutiny of said items, two were without defect but one had the terminal block soldered backwards.

This is my second wireless switch, got my first one about 10 months ago and that one is still going strong. I love this little switches, they're very easy to set up, and best of all, very inexpensive. they're small enough to fit in a standard american single gang switch/outlet box, provided you're using shallow light switches/outlets. This time I've used the wireless switch to make a small extension to hook up a lamp in my living room, or I can easily move it around as I see fit. The only thing that I don't like, is that lately the Android app to control this switches (EWLink) has gotten more and more intrusive, in the last few updates it has asked for permission to use mi microphone, get into my contacts, my pictures and so on. Why does an app that is only used to turn these switches on and off, need to get into my contacts, my pictures, or use my microphone.? It makes no sense to me, so I've stopped updating it and plan on looking for something else that could work with these switches. if anyone knows of an app that works, please leave a message.

The intelligent switches of the Sonoff family are extremely versatile, very economical and functional domotic components. This is the "basic" model that can turn on / off, for example, lights via wifi. Really Smart. You can link with Alexa and Google home.

Product and application easy to understand operation. It took about 20 days. I bought more drives to install on other home devices. I recommend.
