not too notchy but not too free spinning either. i hope these have better bearings than the diatone GT M3 motors. those diatone motors had bad bearings. after 1-2 flight you can feel its not smooth anymore. I actually installed these on my diatone GT M3. only hover tested and seems to be good. tomorrow will test a full flight with a hawkeye firefly which i might mention is a pretty sweet camera for $25.
