This item was well packed and arrived undamaged. It took an unusually long time to arrive (about 2 months). It was backordered for over a month. It appears really good for the price. I purchased it as a gift for someone else so I won't have an evaluation until I present it. Just based off appearance, it looks very very good.

Let's face it, you're not going to get a Stradivarius for thirty bucks! This is a very inexpensive student model violin. That said, it is a playable instrument and a decent choice for someone (like me) who doesn't actually play violin but wants to "dabble." I play a dozen different instruments and enjoy branching out from time to time, just to keep things fresh. I was amazed that the pegs are from wood. as well as the pegbox. The fingerboard, tailpiece and chin rest is plastic, and the rest is made from plywood and glued. It sounds nice as for a violin this cheap. The big plus is the bow and the case included. The violin is good for learning, but not for anything more in fact. At least they keep the tuning and not sound like a crying fox.

o violino é muito bom, tirando que o cavalete não tem muita curvatura, porém o breu veio estraçalhado. The violin is very good, taking away that the easel does not have much curvature, however the pitch came shattered.
