This motor appears very similar to a Hextronic motor sold by HK. It even has the same potential for failure as the HK Hextronic motor. The wire connection point or one of the winding wires will eventually break or short from movement near the back of the motor. The best way to prevent this is to disassemble the motor and remove both bearings. Use a piece of paper towel at both ends of the bearing tunnel to seal it up. Make up some 4 hour epoxy thinned about 20% to 30% with epoxy thinner. Use this thinned epoxy to dip the winding's until they are thoroughly coated and bonded together. Use some unthinned epoxy to prevent the three connection wires from moving between the heat shrink and motor winding's. Mechanically this makes the winding's more durable and electrically it improved heat dissipation. After the epoxy thoroughly cures, (24 hours) remove the paper towel plugs from both ends of the bearing tunnel and make sure that no epoxy entered the tunnel that will interfere with the re-installation of the bearings.

Como era de esperar, este fue un reemplazo para un Phoenix 1600
El motor recibido 2 semanas después del pedido - entrega muy rápida. Aún no se ha probado. Sólo el embalaje era bastante pobre - sólo dos bolsas de plástico delgadas (sin papel de burbuja o algo así). Espero que el motor esté bien y funcione correctamente.
