The scale detail is great on this truck. the kit comes with metal ring and pinion gears so you can build it as is and add some metal driveshafts and you’ll have a great and reliable roller. You just need a Transmitter and receiver, ESC and batteries and your ready to run. I bought the full metal upgrades with all metal axles, gears and driveshafts. Definitely worth buying the kit because the RTR does not have proportional steering and the kit comes with a servo instead of the toy grade slap steering. Also, the kit tires are a much softer compound. If you have been thinking about it, Get It. You’ll have as much fun building it as you will running it and it is great quality for this price point.
