I am very new to the quad game and this controller seems to do it all. and very easy for a newbie to operate.

Mind the fact that the transmitter is delivered without battery, without neck strap. It is delivered with a USB cable (for update) and a trainer cable. I bought this transmitter only to instal the 3in1 module and flash it with DEVIATONTX. I am very happy with the result. You will probably need to open the transmitter, therefore you will need some hexagonal screwdriver (one size for the transmitter itself, one smaller size for the tiny screws of the top nobs). The throttle stick is stiff and notched, but you can adjust that by opening the transmitter and loosen some screws. The battery plus is normal JST, but it's an absolute nightmare to unplug, so once the transmitter opened, I unscrewed it and cut a larger hole to let it hang inside the battery compartment.
