DrMichael There are two controls on the unit - one for brightness and one for colour temperature. The colour temperature is adjustable over quite a large range. According to the listing, the range is 2500K~6500K. From my experience with the unit, that seems about right. At the2500K end of the range the light is yellowish-white or reddish-white. At 6500 it is bluish-white. Temperatures above 5000K are often called "daylight" and those below 3500K "warm white".
