BlackSeaRC Also pre-ordered in December. Mine is now saying shipping before Feb 20!!! More disappointing is the price is less now than what I paid for it.

BlackSeaRC Idisagree about the scale. If you check the dimensions of the real vehicle against this model, it is almost exactly 1:12 scale. Additionally, a 1:12 scale action figure fits very realistically in the seats.

Smaller than 1:12 scale. More like a 1:16 scale. It is 98% Made of plastic components. Has a metal center drive shaft. Very detail RC in looks but I'm yet to test the durability of it.

Q: is it scale 1:16 ??

BG647521218 This is the scale claimed by the manufacturer but beware, if you check the dimensions against a real one it is actually somewhere between 1:18 and 1:19 scale.

Product was ordered from stock on 01-12-2021 and delivered on 10-01-2022. This was quite a bit slower than the delivery window quoted. Also the box was just shipped in a plastic bag so the packaging was quite damaged on arrival. The contents were bumping around a little bit upon unpacking. Really, products of value like this should be shipped with proper outer packaging boxes for protection. The product looks fine and is built to a good standard. Q: The white and black models seem to be the MN86S whereas the grey and yellow models appear to show the upgraded MN86KS. Previous questions about this have provided conflicting answers. Please clarify exactly what is being offered as all models are the same price.

BG164938381 The mn86s black and white versions are standard where as the mn86ks grey and yellow versions have all the off road options If there the same price at the moment i would chose either grey or yellow mn86ks version as these have all the extra accessories Happy off roading

BG647521218 Definitelynot identical to the Katana. Lots of differences, see 'donaldsneffe' comments in review above. Also, not sure why you think that having a hard body has got anything to do with the ESC being noisy. It is just a feature of that particular ESC. There is a reason why this product is cheaper than the Katana. It is still a nice product for the price though.

not a bad bit of kit for the price, considering that it is identical to the Roc hobby Katana just a different colour. esc is very noisey but thats because it comes with a hard body on it. very happy

Q: Is it possible to upgrade to remote controlled lock diff's?

BG647521218 Tolock the differentials you need to remove the diff cover and screw in a small threaded pin. Remote controlled locking differentials are therefore not possible on this model.

Cheap, simple to use and does what it is supposed to do. I bought this to go with a RTR RC truck and HG LiPo battery. Delivery was very slow (over 1 month longer to deliver than the RC truck) so I was waiting around a long time before I could power up the model. Not sure the delivery delay is really anything within Banggood's control as there are delays with shipping worldwide at the moment due to virus and quarantine restrictions. I bought this battery to go with my new HG-P417 that I ordered at the same time. The battery is a good combination of quality, cost and performance so I am happy with it and would order another. I would have given 5 stars if delivery had have been quicker but it took quite a bit longer to arrive than even the slowest estimated date. I recently purchased this truck in desert camouflage colour scheme. It was delivered quickly and only took 2 weeks to arrive. The package arrived in good condition which is important as I don't like the RC product box to be damaged. This is my first HG RC product but first impressions are very positive. I guess like many potential customers I had a certain other Japanese RC product in mind when I purchased this. Luckily, the quality of this HG product is very good for the price and the materials are better than I had expected. I didn't give the full 5 stars for quality as there were a few minor issues with the assembly but I will correct these myself. Overall, this product has exceeded my expectations. It looks absolutely superb and I am very satisfied with my purchase. It can be easily upgraded as and when your finances allow.
