This is a really good training plane for the price. I have just started to fly it after building it and I think it will be forgiving due to being a Cessna. I enjoy building planes and I have experience building so I enjoyed building this one. I have not flown one yet hence why I bought this one, from what I have seen and heard on Youtube it will take a beating. One word of caution to the novice, the instructions are pretty bad (almost useless except for some pictures), so I would not build this for a first plane unless you have an experienced friend that can help you. The standard ESC and motor seem to be adequate, but I bought a 40 Amp ESC and extra motor for future use. Likewise maybe buy a couple of spare propellers, 2 or 3 blade, the stock one's OK but definitely not bulletproof. Couple of tips, if the engine mount looks like it's yawing right that's OK, it's a design feature (all Cessnas with a clockwise rotating propeller yaw slightly left under power due to airflow from the propeller corkscrewing airflow into the vertical stabiliser, real and model ones). So it's meant to be like that. And for the main undercarriage use Epoxy type glue, I used clear Gorilla glue for everything else and that worked great, but after 10 mins of taxiing on grass the main undercarriage broke off, then I went to the hardware store and bought epoxy. Also the kit was short some claw nuts (I think there's meant to be 3 for attaching the wings and maybe 4 for attaching the engine mount) I just used some spare nuts for the engine mount and used the claw nuts for attaching the wing. One of the long 3mm? screws for the wing had a bad thread so I had to buy more of those as well.
