Q: Hi, Please, can you tell if this drone (E511S), with the 1080P operattes at 2,4G frequency, with FPV? It’s making me confusion because it has the 5G WiFi 1080P HD option that makes me believe it is needed a 5G smartphone to operatte it…is this correct? (The EX2H, for instance, loses the FPV capibility if without the C*****P 5G camera. ) My smartphone is 2,4GHz, so can I buy this E511S with 1080P and it will operattes? Many thanks!

StoneD Control is done over 2.4Ghz, while FPV is done over WiFi on 5.8Ghz. 'Normal' WiFi is on 2.4Ghz as it provides greater range and can go through walls, while 5Ghz provides greater bandwidth at a shorter range and really doesn't like obstructions. Doing both control and FPV on the same frequency would be a bad idea. As long as your phone can connect to 5Ghz WiFi and can run the provided apps, you should be fine.
