This is my 1st crawler, but not my 1st RC. 1st impressions are very good, the box wasn't damaged. The battery had enough charge to test things out. The electronics are adequate, the steering servo is metal geared, I checked. The transmitter takes a while to tweak, and the mix of ESC settings are worth testing out. I wonder if the price difference between the big brands is worth it. If you can live with the cheaper feeling radio, it's OK. There was next to no grease applied, so be warned if you want it to last, take everything apart, remove what dried up grease is there and start again. It drives better and sounds better. The only real upgrade you need is a better battery and charger.
