Very good power supply for the price. I bought two different ones. They are both new and I never tested them to their limits. This one and the less expensive Minileaf K3010D. Both are 30 Volt 10 Amp rated. Specifications seemed good and since there is a leaf in my countries flag, what the heck. What some people don't know is that these power supplies set the MAX voltage and amperage. They are voltage and current limiting. So a shorted output is limited to the set maximum amperage while the voltage display drops to near zero. Amperage display is set by shorting the output together. This is NORMAL. As well, the Voltage will output anywhere up to set MAX. If current draw is less than the set maximum, then voltage output will also be at the maximum as shown on the display, Voltage limit is set with leads not touching each other. This one, NPS3010W unit has both course and fine adjustment. Fine are only single turn knobs (fine is +/- 0.2 V).. The display is dim. Hard to see in direct sunlight. Voltage and amperage output match the LED display perfectly. I never checked the accuracy of the Wattage display as it's not that important to me. There is no ground connector, just (+) and (-). Powers down immediately and the voltage drains off within 2 seconds. Nice that the power leads are included. Connectors are good quality. The cheaper one, K3010D, has a bright display. Voltage indicator is 0.02 volts low. Amperage is perfect. Inconsequential since the adjustment knobs are course adjustment only and you will be hard pressed to get it perfect without some fiddling. It has a 4 second power down delay. Not sure if that's just capacitors draining or designed that way. Voltage also drains off after the display goes out. It takes over 5 seconds for all that to happen so if you need to disconnect fast, pull your Vcc connection. Electrical connectors are cheaper quality It's also 30% larger than the NPS unit. Either power supply is a GREAT BUY!
