OzClient It works on a Suzuki DR650, a big single like the XT660, so should work. I think it is a wiring issue. The yellow/black goes to the positive( ) side of the ignition coil. the other 4 wires are just power, two to the ( ) somewhere in your wiring loom or battery, and the other two to ground or (-). That is all it needs.
