Jean I just received 3 D1R2. There is any information written on the processor. I don't know if it is the CH340 G ? I didn't try it. I will come back here to give my advices around 15 th of july. See you soon.

I've installed the device driver but the WeMos D1 isn't recognised or detected. The Arduino software doesn't connect since there is no (COM) port. I have tried several USB cables so i am afraid it's te WeMos that appears to be the issue here. Please advice.

Jean do need an otg cable to connect to Android phone ?

I received this small wireless camera in perfect condition, working as the description said, i try to figure out how to connect with mobile and computer, finally made it with a little search and play. In order to connect with your mobile you have to download "plug2view.apk" and for pc download the pc client "Sys Monitor.zip" You can find the above and everything else in http://www.scc21.net/ If you want to connect the camera as AP (direct wifi) then you have to scan WiFi networks with your mobile and connect to "MD81S" by entering "12345678" pass. The wireless range with this method (AP) is about 15-30 meter, depends if you are in open area or not. Its very easy to connect the camera with your home WiFi network, it seems that working better due to WiFi home device which give much more range both camera and your mobile phone, this method refer as p2p, don't forget to enter your WiFi password. The good thing is that if you enter wrong password or generally made wrong settings after the reboot the camera will return to default state after a 1-2 minutes as AP and you can try again by selecting "MD81S" from your mobile WiFi list. The picture is clear with low resolution but for the scope intended and as a wireless camera is ok. It's hot when operate and a little more heat when charging and operating. After a few test the battery last for about 1 hour with continuously operate, streaming on mobile or pc. Ι speculate that battery will last longer if connect the camera as P2P (to wifi home) because will need less energy to emit on WiFi home network and also will not be discoverable. I think that 1 to 1:30 hours is enough and safe for charging the battery, i don't know if charging more time will overcharge and destroy battery due to high temperature. So, in general i will made some tests and possibly report back. Fast shipping ! That's all folks !
