Q: Which cameras support?

Preguntado por Giorgos sobre 2022-10-03 12:07:34

kilroy22 It supports all cameras and other devices such as (AP, cameras from several producers, IP phones) which are IEEE 802.3af compatible.. I can tell you for example that several (possibly not all) ubiquity APs will work, I have hisseu cameras that work but of course they are 802.3af compatible... Anyway, most of lower level mikrotiks router will not work, becouse they are POE passive.. Look for devices- cameras that are 802.3af compatible... I have an older Cisco AP that does not work with this switch...

kilroy22 Use for Gas or any flammable liquid-gas is strongly discouraged.. You should use valves specially designed for ex-atmosphere. Do not play with your life. This is for water, I'm not even sure if you could use it for air under pressure (atmosphere air)

Q: is antenna detachable ?

Preguntado por BG534855717 sobre 2021-01-29 05:53:49

kilroy22 No, the antennas are not detachable. You can rotate them and put them in a position you want, but not detachable. When you receive the packet, they are all lowered in a way so they use as little space as possible.

Q: What type of power connector does it come with?

Preguntado por Ylondono sobre 2020-08-04 09:47:41

kilroy22 I live in Croatia and we have www.iec.ch-worldplugs-typeC.htm OR type www.iec.ch-worldplugs-typeF.htm connectors. When I ordered my Redmi, I ordered "my" plug. When it arrived, I got www.iec.ch-worldplugs-typeA.htm. I had an converter so I can live with that. When you order, remember to select the right type for you. If you are talking about the Redmi side of power connector, it is round, outer diameter 4mm, (+) in the middle, (-) is outer part, as usual. 12V 1.5A Hope this helps, bye Change dash with a slash in URL

kilroy22 Well, I'm affraid NO as far as I know. Rather, it's very closed but this may be appropriate for most user meaning that you can plug it in your network, use Mi app for minimum configuration and that's all. For example, I have 192.168.20.xxx, and when I put AC2100 in my netw it got IP addr from my range, and on the wireless side where clients are coming through ac2100 it's range 192.168.31.xxx. I have NOT seen any place if I want to change the "192.168.31." And i have NOT seen in any place for Static Routes. It does some other things you would not expect from it, like your weekly traffic statistics, but it lacks a myriad of "normal" options.

kilroy22 When you take a RJ45 connector, hold it with your hand with metal pins away from you, and flexible plastic down, the pin are as follows 1. white oran 2. orange 3. white green 4. blue 5.white blue 6 green 7. white brown 8. brown Or, search google RJ45 pinout, T-568B standard. Both ends of the cable like that, and connect your poe or non poe device, both should work. This switch is NOT passive poe, but active IEEE802.3af-at. Beware that most cheap cameras have passive poe, not active. >>>Hiseeu HB624 H.265 4.0MP POE Security Camera ONVIF<<< is a camera that perfectly works with this switch.

Q: Can be turned off infra red Leds that work at night.

Preguntado por lucky06 sobre 2019-09-26 04:07:17

kilroy22 You can do this, in config: "Audio-video" | "Fill light setting", mode: Timing, then put just 1min of night, so it would be just 1min per day in night mode with IR on. This is just a workaround, maybe there is even smarter solution.

Q: where record that camera?

Preguntado por nikos8142 sobre 2019-09-28 06:49:45

kilroy22 This camera does NOT record any footage "per se". Of course you can attach it to a NVR such as "Hiseeu P2P 8CH 16CH 5MP 4MP H.265 NVR" or "Hiseeu 4K 8MP POE NVR 8CH" or to your PC with NVR software or to your NAS, then you would have recorded content.

Preguntado por Bsoft2007 sobre 2019-09-25 09:00:43

kilroy22 Para este tipo de câmera e por esse preço é mais do que aceitável. Eu instalei mais dessas câmeras. For this type of camera and for this price is more than acceptable. I have installed more of these cameras.

kilroy22 For live video view|config you need Internet explorer. Just for config|web management (without live view)- you can use practically any browser. I think there's a "Internet explorer emulator" for Chrome but did not try if it works with this camera. Basically, on first connection, there's a OCX that you have to install within IE to make live view work. You can not do that from other browser, that's the catch

kilroy22 I would dig further with ONVIF, since I'm pretty sure that these cameras support ONVIF. Installed many of them, on cam+Hiseeu NVR, cam+ QNAP NAS, cam+NVR sw on PC.. everything works.. I've seen that on QNAP NAS there is ONVIF, but under ONVIF there where 7-8 types of ONVIF "detection". I had to find the right sub-ONVIF detection. It did not work firstly without trying harder. Hope this helps someone. ONVIF works 101% for me...

Q: Hi, Can i save the video stream to local NAS ? Or only to NVR ?

Preguntado por harongi sobre 2019-08-01 12:48:37

kilroy22 You can use a spare PC and a software like ivideon, iSpy, Genius NVR and record it on local hard drive or if you map a NAS, it'll go to NAS. QNAP NAS has an app on NAS that supports video surveillance, I think synology has something similar. I don't know for other manufacturers but even they can have something. If you want video surveillance as "set-it-and-forget-it", then go for a Hiseeu NVR. I would do that. If you are familiar with tinkering, use your old PC, but it will use more electrical energy.. So it's a question on what is cheaper..
