murcod Itotally agree. Mine wasn't working properly so I ended up opening the case. I found the negative wire to the solar panel hadn't even been soldered on. Plus one screw had only been half done up. They're very cheaply made. The two generic 18650 batteries are even spot welded and hard wired so they can't easily be replaced.

murcod Probably around 1.5- 2m. You need to be close to the light with the remote pointing directly at it. That was on a bright sunny day, the range may improve on duller days or at night?

murcod No, it's not warm white. It has a definite blue tinge to the light. Probably around 6000k.

murcod Go to the Blitzwolf website and find this speaker. I've asked the same question on that page and was told you can turn the "Voice Prompts" down. I can't on mine. They also claim the last set volume level will be remembered- mine seems to default to 14 when turned off/ back on. The voice prompts are permanently loud and not adjustable via the volume settings.

I've been using this smart band for a few days now, here are my thoughts so far: - The charging lead is a really bad/ cheap design. It's basically a plastic spring loaded clip with 3 electrical connectors. You need to carefully align it with the electrical contacts on the back of the band... but don't follow the instructions as the picture is wrong! - There's a single touch "button" on the screen with sequences of short or long pushes changing functions. It would be a whole lot better with a proper touch screen. I've had a couple of instances where I've been drying my hands after washing them and the towel touching the screen has activated functions. Crossing your arms can have a similar outcome. Yesterday it logged a 1:48 hr exercise that covered 200m (around my house.) Very annoying. - The phone app has different exercise routines (like the band) but starting them on the phone won't start the activity on the band (and vice versa.) The phone app also has a GPS map that can be displayed- I haven't played with that yet. It doesn't seem to exchange exercise stats (band to phone) until the app is opened and the screen swiped to sync data manually. - It was "dead" out of the box and required around 7hrs of charging before it was full. The first 2hrs it wouldn't respond and kept shutting down. Having said that, I'm now up to my fifth day and it's still going. It's also been logging heart rate, breaths per minute, blood oxygen and blood pressure during the day for that period. So that pretty good IMHO. (Not that I've done a lot of exercise logging.) - It works for SMS notification (including displaying the full SMS) and for phone call notifications. I did miss one SMS- I'm not sure if that was because the app was closed on my phone or because I was out of range of my phone? Returning to the phone's bluetooth range still didn't show the SMS on the band. There's no calendar notifications which is disappointing. - The heart rate is accurate, but comparing the blood pressure to my Omron cuff type blood pressure monitor showed the Systolic (higher number) was about 20 too high. - The display can be a bit hard to read in full sun. It's also recessed into the band so reading the display on an angle can be difficult. The pictures on Banggood are computer animations and not what the screen really looks like. Compared to the Honor 4 band I recently bought for my daughter- the OLED display and proper touch screen on the Honor 4 is way better. The Honor 4's clip on USB lead also makes this look cheap and nasty. The sleep monitor on the Q8S is a bit off on it's tracking, the Honor 4 seems more accurate and gives more detail. I'm hoping the accuracy of the blood pressure readings on the Q8S improve as that is one of the reasons I bought it.
